Stony Sun eyemask
Stony Sun was born as a side effect of Covid-19, with distancing ourself from the world that we have been forced to accept and live in. The desire to dress up and go to an event or sit down at a restaurant with friends until late or just hang out and be close to other. Stony Sun is a piece of jewellery inspired by a theatrical mask. But instead of hiding the face or part of the face, it highlights the eye with the rays of sun going down the cheek as a symbol of hope for the future where we can live free again and socialize with each other just like before the pandemic.
The structure is inspired by cliff, mainly Kungsklyftan in Fjällbacka in Sweden.
This piece of jewellery is handcrafted in silver in our studio in Sweden , like all other SAGA MELINA jewellery. Every piece is unique.
